Mission

Teaching:

The School of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering at the International University of Rabat (UIR) is seeking applications for a faculty position in the fields of Electric Vehicle Engineering, Battery Technology, Automotive Electronics, Automotive Embedded Systems, Vehicle Management Systems, and Electric Vehicle Energy Management. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Automotive Engineering. The candidate must have a track record of research supervision capability for Ph.D. research candidates. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. doctorate in one of the announced areas and possess relevant teaching experience in Automotive Engineering. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong research potential, evidenced by publications in high-impact journals, and contribute to the department, the university, and the profession. Additionally, candidates are expected to assist in the education mission of the school and provide requested academic services. Proficiency in the English language is essential as all courses are taught in English.

Research:

We seek applicants with research interests in Electric Vehicles, renewable energy integration for EV charging stations, Automotive Structures, Power Electronics, Battery Technology, Impact of electric vehicle charging on distribution networks and solutions, GPS, etc. Applicants should submit a research program plan aligned with the indicated areas, including research experience and publications in refereed journals, as well as a list of supervised graduate students (Master and Ph.D.) who have graduated. Successful candidates are also expected to be involved in thematic research in advanced materials and renewable energy.

Profile
