Business Developer – Renewable Energy : Casablanca

As a Business Development Manager at EDF Renewables, your primary objective is to expand our turnover by developing new service offerings and contracts to secure new deals. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for various tasks aimed at market growth and project development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    • Contribute to market analysis and define strategies to develop the Moroccan and regional project portfolios.
  2. Bid Management:
    • Manage bids for domestic and international tenders, taking projects up to financial closure if successful.
  3. Project Financial Closure:
    • Lead negotiations for financial closure of projects in wind, solar, and BESS, including PPA, EPC, O&M, and financing contracts.
  4. Greenfield Project Development:
    • Lead the development of greenfield projects in the Moroccan private market, covering commercial, contractual, financial, and permitting aspects.
  5. Partnership and Portfolio Acquisition:
    • Identify and negotiate new partnerships and acquisition opportunities at various stages of completion.
  6. Relationship Building and Representation:
    • Cultivate long-term relationships with stakeholders, expand professional networks, and represent EDF Renewables at industry events to enhance our presence and image.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an Engineering or Business school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of significant experience as a business developer in renewable energies.
