We are currently recruiting for our client an experienced Electrical Engineering Service Manager (M/F) for a position based in Casablanca.

Job Description

The Electrical Engineering Service Manager (M/F) will be responsible for:

  • Managing an engineering project portfolio and conducting electrical engineering missions for customers.
  • Designing, sizing, and optimizing cabling architectures for electrical installations.
  • Creating functional 2D diagrams and 3D routing using electrical CAD software (PV Syst, PV Design, Solidworks Electrical, CANECO, AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Managing design reviews and verifying design validity under various operating scenarios through numerical modeling.
  • Analyzing and challenging electrical component specifications (cables, connectors, relays, switches, protections) and proposing alternative solutions considering EMC, thermal, industrialization, and integration constraints.
  • Managing design changes throughout the equipment definition lifecycle, ensuring documentation consistency.
  • Maintaining and enriching approved components databases.
  • Qualifying alternative component sources.
  • Ensuring quality and timely execution of projects, maintaining customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Electrical Engineering Service Manager (M/F) role should possess the following credentials and experience:

  • Holder of a degree in electrical engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience within a consultancy company or engineering firm
  • Proficiency in understanding electrical/power electronics circuit topologies & architectures
  • Ability in electrical systems definition and integration (functional diagram, equipment, cabling, and accessories) in industrial, power network, or embedded environments
  • Experience in handling electrical design software (Solidworks Electrical, PV Syst, PV Design…)
  • Knowledge of relevant international electrotechnical norms and standards
  • Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility issues associated with the coexistence of power electronics, radio frequency communication, and electrical power lines and systems
  • Project management rigor
  • Strong problem-solving skills (cable systems rely on multi-physics)
  • Strong computer science and digital skills
  • Programming skills are a plus, including inclination for innovation, tools development, and simulation
