Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Participate in the design and development of signalling systems, including CBTC and other advanced train control technologies.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed technical specifications, system architecture, and safety plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed signalling solutions.
  • Analyze existing signalling systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate signalling systems with other railway infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to signalling systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in signalling engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3/4 years of relevant experience in signalling engineering or complex systems design.
  • Familiarity with CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software tools for system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
