Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in the design and development of signalling systems, including CBTC and other advanced train control technologies.
- Assist in the creation of detailed technical specifications, system architecture, and safety plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed signalling solutions.
- Analyze existing signalling systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose enhancements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate signalling systems with other railway infrastructure components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Support testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to signalling systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in signalling engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3/4 years of relevant experience in signalling engineering or complex systems design.
- Familiarity with CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools for system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
